I’ve always like the early 200's rounded style of Audi’s. I’ve found myself lusting after an early TT ever since getting the Allroad. I would imagine its a bit like a WRX. Get some decent power, the AWD, it could be fun.

Once I am through the Navy, I want to buy a TT as my dream project car. I am thinking sequential gearbox swap, stripped interior, full cage, rally shocks, and Fink knows what else.

I was looking at them to replace the NB MX5 I had, I ultimately chose the mk5 GTI in the end because interior volume.

They are stupid cheap these days. However, they have traditional Audi reliability.

No actually. I used to autocross with him. He was nationally competitive in his TT. Pretty sure he won nationals with it. His name is Mark Smith.

Yeah, which is a shame. I imagine if you planned on spending $10k on a car you could get one in good condition for 5k and set the rest aside for repairs.

thats somewhat what I did with the Allroad. I bought a cheaper car, used the extra to pay off some other debt, and accepted that I would probably just be putting it back onto the credit card eventually with parts. I just did a quick estimate and I’m arround $4800. That includes buying the vehicle. tires were the biggest hit at $580

I’d had enough of fabric tops by then and wanted to seat 4 so a roadster was out of the question.

I saw him sitting behind the wheel of a subie waiting in line at Pikes Peak last year. He is pretty good.

I’ve already owned and Audi so I’ve dealt with the gremlins. That being said, I did not own a TT and still want one.
